God the Healer and of the Impossible!

God heals! A few years ago, the Lord had me pray over a friend’s mom who was in a coma.  As I prayed, the Holy Spirit moved powerfully through me.  He brought an image of the movie “Breakthrough” to me.  This movie tells the true story of a young man who falls through an icy pond and is in a coma.  The doctors gave his mom no hope.  She is a strong Christian and refuses to believe this.  She tells the hospital that no one can enter her son’s room, unless they speak positively and life over him.  She gathered prayer warriors around the world to pray.  Her son woke up from the coma and is perfectly healthy today.  Only Jesus!

Anyways, I shared this story with my friend, who was not a Christian at the time.  I told her to go into that hospital room the next day and speak the name of Jesus and the names of two other miracles in her life.  I told her she has even more authority in Jesus since this was her family member.  Then I prayed and shouted over her mom in Jesus’ name, “Rise up, you will live and not die!”  The next day her mom was out of the coma and off the ventilator. God of miracles!  A few months later, I led my friend to the Lord and she and her mom are doing well to this day.  God is so good!

I had a similar experience praying for a student who was a Christian a few years ago.  When I asked him why he was struggling with his classwork, he told me his uncle was in a coma and the doctors didn’t have hope he’d live.  As a result, his father was drinking excessively and all of it had brought a lot of stress on my student.  I asked him if I could pray for him.  He said yes and I did.  I also told him that because they are his family, he has more authority over them in Jesus’ name.  I encouraged him to pray for them regularly.  Soon, he told me his uncle was out of the coma, miraculously, and his dad stopped drinking!  My student also started doing better in school.  Thank you, Jesus!  God is the God of the impossible, if we truly believe as His word says.  I know that I needed to be reminded of this and it encouraged me.  I hope it does for you too!  He is no respecter of persons and Jesus can do this through anyone.  What are you believing for?  We may not feel that anything will happen until we step out in faith.  Then Holy Spirit takes over and watch out, it’s powerful!!  Imagine if we had more believers stepping out in faith like this, God could do the impossible!!
